There is power in prayer . . .
We believe in prayer at Perry Crossroads. Prayer is the heartbeat of our relationship with God. It is communication between us and God using words, art, singing, writing, and reading. As in any communication, prayer also involves listening to God. The Bible is clear that things happen when God's people pray. 2 Chronicles 7:14 says, "If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their evil ways, then I will hear from Heaven and will answer and heal their land." James 5:14-15 states, "If there be any sick among you, let him call for the elders to pray over him and to anoint him with oil and the prayer offered in faith will make the sick well and the Lord will raise him up . . ." These are but two scriptures reassuring us that God hears us when we pray and He will answer. So what can we help you pray for? We're here for you whether you attend our church or even live in our area. There are no limits to the power of prayer and God's touch. Write to us today.
You're invited to Intercessory Prayer . . .
Each Sunday night at 6 PM, we have a special time of Intercessory Prayer. What is Intercessory Prayer? Very simply, it is prayer which intercedes to God on behalf of others. Those others may be government leaders, our troops, family members of others, churches worldwide, or any other situation. Intercessory Prayer takes the fight directly to the enemy. It is God's people pressing in to move mountains and believe for miracles. Each Sunday night, we will believe together for God to bring revival to our nation, heal the sick, restore the broken, and for His will to be accomplished in our lives and those around us.
